We meet a lot of people in our journey to this thing called "LIFE". Some of them just passes by, some stays for a while then leaves while others stays with us through thick and thin. These are the people whom we can always count on. People whose distance does not hinder from making us feel that they are always there for us. The sad thing is, because we know and we have proven that such people will stay with us no matter what, we oftentimes forget to appreciate what they are doing. We even barely recognize their importance(until they're gone).
Have you ever honored your parents, friends, or your spouse for loving you and for just simply being there? When was the last time you have looked them in their eyes and said "thank you"? Days, Weeks, Months, years, or maybe never...

Last night, I received this text message from my significant other...

" Thank you! I am blessed and honored you chose to walk with me. I honor you for the patience, understanding and love that you are giving me. I do hope I am doing likewise..giving you everything, my whole life. I love you and promise to love you, ad infitum."

Remeber, time is too short, honor the people you love, people who means so much to you while they are still there.

I'M BACK!!!

I hope this is not yet the end but rather only the beginning of more posts here at blogspot. till next time...

Happy Father's Day dddy!

Let it be

My heart will love thee only
And if you desire my dear
That my heart stop to beat
Until I see thee
Then for you my dddy
Let it be

These eyes of mine
Only you will see
If thou demand that it be close
Until ‘tis you I see
Then for you my dddy
Let it be

This mouth will speak words of love
Only to thee
If thou shall say that I don’t speak
Until ‘tis you in front of me
Then for you my dddy
Let it be

I AM A PROUD MAMA

I'm lost for words. I'm just so proud of you my son!

A trip to the Prayer Mountain

It's been a year already since my alter-ego Babsie and I went to the Prayer Mountain in Antipolo. It was ineed one of the most unforgettable trips that I will definitely cherish, not just because I had some bonding moments with my alter -ego(who is now in Singapore) but because of the serenity and beauty of the place.

It was Friday eveneing and Babsie (out of nowhere) asked me to go with her to the prayer mountain. She have never been there but knowing Babsie, i never had second thoughts... I immediately said yes.We left at ParaƱaque at almost 6 pm already. We took the cab and then the jeepney, then finally the MRT. From Cubao, we still took two rides before we reached the prayer mountain. It was almost 10 pm then. We were so scared because we were not familiar with the place and the road we were traversing was so dark. But you see, God is really so good. There was also one passenger in the jeepney whose house is near the place we were going so he just accompanied us. If not for him I don't know how many more persons we could have asked about the direction(lol).

Prayer Mountain is really a beautiful place and the trip was worth it. : )

life

Life is full of absurdity and complexity. It seems we understand life and all its intricacies. Suddenly you wake up and find out you are simply an insignificant part of it, immersed and assumed in an incomprehensible dynamicity making it hard to see life in its entirety. We say this is our life and pretend we are ruling it. But later on we know and realize it is life itself that makes us exist. So we dream, we fall, we fail and try to move on, hoping we can conquer the depth of life, fathom the expanse. Again life itself will take its toll. It rules, it is not me, not even you can change it. What then comes next but simply the acceptance of whatever is. Let it be...

A thought on marriage

Just awhile ago, i was having a chat with my cousin-in-law(Bubbles of Thoughts). We're having one of those sleepy afternoon so we decided to have a cup of coffee. We were having a free flowing conversation when suddenly our topic went to that most awaited yet most feared thing, MARRIAGE. I shared to her my insights and real life experiences about getting into marriage and the struggles on how to make it work. I'm not saying that for the five years that I have been married, I can be considered an expert already in this one of the most challenging, yet most fulfilling commitment to keep...but you see, my husband and I have had a lot of topsy turvy moments in our marriage. Inevitable circumstances really happen and there are only two options to choose from: run away from it or face it.In the course of our marriage, we have always chosen the latter.I think that is the secret why until now we are still stuck in each other's arms.
